The Government of the Republic of Macedonia has announced and published, a request for Expressions of Interest for establishing the Technical Industrial Development Zones - TIDZ - in the municipalities of Stip and Tetovo.

The Zones cover a total surface area of 208 and 96.74 hectares respectively, and will be made available for usage under concession a period of 99 years .

The potential investor in TIDZ will be required to undertake the following rights and obligations:

I. To establish the Zone and to provide financial capacity for the commencement of operation of the Zone,

II. To provide the appropriate premises, taking into consideration the ecological, energy, technological and other conditions necessary for the performance of the activity in the Zone,

III. To initiate with construction of the basic infrastructure within the Zone,

IV. To build infrastructural, administrative, manufacturing and other associate objects that can be subject of grant, rent or sale,

V. To promote the Zone and to accelerate the attraction of investors within the Zone,

VI. To dispose and to manage the property of the Zone during the entire period of use of the Zone.

An expression of Interest should be submitted by January 15th 2009 by 16:00 hrs (local time).
