The Employment Service Agency (ESA) of the Republic of Macedonia has launched an e-government application that allows companies to electronically register new employees or de-register departing ones, as well as advertising available jobs.
The Minister of Information Society, Ivo Ivanovski, said that soon the software application will be upgraded and all CV’s of persons in Macedonia seeking jobs will be available on the Employment Agency's website.
By encouraging the registration of part-time and seasonal workers the application will not only improve the government’s ability to collect and analyze labour statistics, but also help formalise jobs that are currently part of the “grey” economy. |
